I recently took part in a survey to assess my personality type to help inform what may/may not work best within the team I work for (BCE Advisory Services Team). It’s not that there’s anything wrong with our team but the process helps to identify strengths/weaknesses which help to inform how we may work even better together.
Mel Nixon (awesome guy) took the session and began by giving some of the theory behind the whole process – Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). The process analyses your personality preferences. Mel explained it as being able to write with both hands however most of us have a preference i.e. I’m right-handed. Slapped Wrist

Currently taking part in a Netskills workshop based on Collaborative Tools for knowledge transfer. After listening to the section on Blogs I felt a horrible shame in that I haven’t updated my Blog in some time. I know you don’t want to hear excuses but honestly I’ve been very busy changing roles, organising my wedding, having a holiday (not abroad unfortunately), part exchanging our car and being ill.
There will be some useful updates to the Blog soon particularly relating to knowledge transfer and the new JISC initiative of Business and Community Engagement. I’m also hoping to add some information regarding the organisation of our wedding which may prove useful to others.
Anyway, must dash as this is part of an exercise and I can’t spend too long on it!

More of a question this one. Over the past month or so I’ve been thinking about changing to Sky for my broadband services but have been put off by the customer service my parents and my future parents in law have received. They both only have the Sky TV service. Both of them have major problems with the picture beginning to flicker. My future parents in law were told the problem was their TV being to old and they would need to buy a new one. Funny that because they’ve never had any problems in the past and it’s by no means a majorly old TV.
